Design Intent

The brief was to create a restaurant space that would stand out in a competitive market while remaining warm and inviting. We drew inspiration from Mediterranean coastal cafes — the decorative blue shutters framing artwork on the walls, the patterned black-and-white floor tiles, and the abundance of natural greenery all contribute to a space that feels like an escape from the everyday.

Material & Mood

The material palette balances industrial rawness with refined comfort. A metal grid ceiling framework supports both functional lighting and decorative pendant fixtures, creating visual rhythm overhead. Navy blue velvet booths offer plush seating along the walls, while the geometric breeze-block dividers at the entrance add texture and partial privacy without closing off sight lines. Linear LED strips criss-cross at dynamic angles, lending the space a contemporary edge.

Inside & Out

The restaurant extends seamlessly to an outdoor terrace, where decorative oval mesh screens, lush tropical planting, and patterned floor tiles create a garden-like dining area. By blurring the boundary between interior and exterior, we gave diners the choice of an intimate indoor meal or an al-fresco experience surrounded by greenery — both designed with equal care and attention.
